Wisconsin Remembers: A Face for Every Name

The Jefferson Library is proud to bring this traveling exhibit to Jefferson in May. The display consists of 17 pop-up banners featuring a photo for each of the 1,161 Wisconsinites officially listed on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. The exhibit will open with a ceremony conducted by the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 409 Tues. May 15 at 6:30 pm with a reception to follow. It will be open for viewing from May 16-25 during regular library hours. The exhibit will be closed May 26 but will reopen on May 28, from 9-1 pm so that people may visit before and after the Memorial Day ceremony at Rotary Park. The Jefferson Museum will also be open May 28 from 9-1 pm. This exhibit was created by Wisconsin Veterans Museum, Wisconsin Public Radio, and Wisconsin Public Television.
